Weekly Uplook - January 14, 2023

Good evening beloved Seattle saints,

Lori and I have returned safely home and are looking forward to worshipping with you all in person again tomorrow.  A hearty thank you to Bro. Alex & Bro. Taiwoo who covered the preaching duties in my absence as well as many others who continued faithfully in our absence.

Your prayers for us in the Philippines were greatly appreciated and intimately felt during our time there.  By God’s grace we were able to visit 13 of our Philippine churches holding services in 4 and informal fellowship/greetings in the other 9.   During this time we dedicated one child (first child of one of our pastors), dedicated one church, held anniversary services for our headquarters and another branch church, attend the 3 day Winter Campmeeting during which we witnessed over 15 new converts baptism in water, and install a new District Superintendent.  We even had opportunity to visit with Bro. Gary/Sis. Gaylen Olson who are there visiting their daughter and family (Angela, Leo, Zoe, Aria, & Nora Mendoza) who came for the installation of the new District Superintendent.  We were blessed to have Bro. Dial & Sis. Carrie Keju from Washington DC accompany us where she helped with the preaching and he with the music and photo/videography.  I am hopeful his final video presentation will be complete in a few weeks so I can share it with you all.

And…yes it is back to Seattle business.  Barring any major setbacks, we anticipate year end contribution letters should go out in the mail toward the end of this week.  There is still a bit of jetlag from which to recover but we will try to move back things as normal in as healthy a manner as possible.  God bless you each one.  We look forward to seeing your smiling faces in person for the first time in 2023 tomorrow at church.

Blessings,
BB
