Earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered unto the saints.

Jude 3

The Apostolic Faith Church is a traditional, multicultural church, located on the corner of 75th St. NE and Roosevelt Way in Seattle, Washington. As a congregation, we are committed to upholding the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our services are a time to worship God together through prayer and music, be encouraged by testimonies of God working in lives today, and hear practical and relevant messages from the word of God.

Our services vary slightly based on the day and time, but are generally are all comprised of:
  1. Congregational singing - a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary worship;
  2. Testimony - an opportunity for church members to publicly thank God for what He has done in their lives;
  3. Special Music - rehearsed song performances by members of the music ministry;
  4. Preaching - scripture readings and practical messages from the word of God;
  5. Prayer - communal and individual; before service in our "prayer room", during service, and following service at our prayer altars or in our pews.

International Headquarters

The Apostolic Faith Church organization is a worldwide church ministry with headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Its founder, Sis. Florence Crawford, received the infilling of the Holy Spirit during the Azusa Street Revival of 1906 in Los Angeles, California. The Apostolic Faith has grown significantly since that time, and is now represented by hundreds of churches spanning six continents.

The Apostolic Faith follows a tradition of Wesleyan holiness practiced by those whom the Holy Spirit descended on at Azusa. We believe the entire Bible is God's infallible Word and uphold the fundamental teachings of New Testament faith. We exercise this faith through three foundational practices:
  • Prayer - we make prayer the basis of every ministry and encourage communion with God as the way we grow to spiritual maturity in Him;
  • Preaching - we emphasize the original Pentecostal doctrines of Salvation, Sanctification, and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, continually striving to develop fully committed disciples of Jesus;
  • Publishing - we publish the Gospel through the written and spoken word, and through our personal lives, searching daily for opportunities to spread the message, "ye must be born again".
